TREASURES FROM THE SEAS
For our first collection we’ve taken inspiration from the seas - The world’s oceans offer us so many beautiful treasures, from the classic pearl to the irridescent abalone there is a kaleidescope of colours, shapes and patterns. They tell the story of the sea’s diversity, from shell to pearls, from abalone to sea bamboo - all a beautiful tribute to the oceans’ timeless creativity. Much time and thought have gone into sourcing distinctive eye-catching products to create unique pieces of jewellery. We hope you will enjoy wearing them.
Our Pearls & Semi Precious Stones
Normally pearls are graded as AAA+; AAA; AA; & A. Ungraded pearls may have an uneven surface, little lustre, or blemishes. We use freshwater pearls of AAA standard and similarly where products are designed with semi precious stones we only use the best.
All our pearls are ethically sourced from trusted suppliers and sustainable pearl farms. We carefully select various types of pearls depending on the specific design requirements of each product. These may be from classical pieces to contemporary avant-garde pieces.
Gold Fill
We tend to use gold fill components which are crafted from a durable, high quality material where a thick layer of gold has been bonded to a base metal. This offers the luxurious look of solid gold at a more accessible price. Gold fill as to be at least 5% of the item’s total weight. Should one of our items is not gold fill it will be in the product description.
Earrings
We generally use a gold fill ‘C’ shaped earring as standard with most of our earrings, however we do carry other types and if you prefer another style please choose on check-out. An additional cost could be involved.
Clasps
We normally use an appropriate sized bolt ring clasp. We prefer to use a tiny, very strong, magnetic clasp. If you prefer this for your chosen product please select on check-out.
