Pearls

Fashion styles come and go, but pearls remain - a symbol of elegance, sophistication, and natural beauty. Simply worn as a single strand or incorporated into a trendy design, pearls are timeless and are welcomed into any collection. Today, pearls are more versatile than ever. No longer reserved for formal occasions or the upper echelons of society, pearls have found their way into everyday fashion.

Unlike diamonds, sapphires, or rubies, which are mined from the earth, pearls are formed within living organisms—specifically, oysters and mollusks. This natural creation process gives pearls their unique luster which reflects light in a way that no other gemstone can replicate.

Natural pearls come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, from classic white and cream to more exotic hues like black, gray, and even gold. The most valuable pearls are perfectly round, but baroque pearls—those with irregular shapes—have their distinct charm and are increasingly popular in contemporary jewellery designs.
